Red Light Verified is an independent editorial review site that is reader-supported via affiliate commissions.

When you click a link to a product on this site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the brand at no additional cost to you. This commission helps us pay for hands-on device testing, FDA database access, writer fees, and hosting.

Our commitments

• Independence. We do not accept paid placement, sponsored reviews, or editorial fees. Our product rankings are not influenced by commission size.
• Transparency. Every page that contains affiliate links displays a clear disclosure at the top and inline near the first affiliate link.
• Honest criticism. If a device has a flaw, we say so — even if we earn commission on it. Devices that fail our wavelength / irradiance / FDA verification standards are called out, not buried.

Commission structure

Commission rates vary by brand. Typical ranges:

• Premium panel brands (Joovv, Mito Red, PlatinumLED): 5%–10% on $400–$2,000 devices
• Face mask brands (Omnilux, Currentbody): 5%–12% on $200–$700 devices
• Handheld / wand brands (Solawave): 3%–10% on $90–$300 devices
• Multi-brand retailer (Currentbody via Awin): 2%–10% on a 45-day cookie
• Amazon Associates: 3% on most pet/wellness categories, 24-hour cookie

Specific commission policies change frequently and are subject to each brand's affiliate agreement. The figures above are approximate and not binding.
